This heritage Himroo design is inspired by the Safavid textiles of Persia that were woven in the 14th century. While it was created centuries' ago, the symmetry and scale of each flower give this design a very conteprary and modern appeal. The tiny red and blue flowers on a kora base  enhance the dainty appeal of this design. It takes over 2 weeks to weave one shawl.
