This heritage Himroo design is inspired by the Safavid textiles of Persia that were woven in the 14th century. While it was created centuries' ago, the symmetry and scale of each flower give this design a very contemporary and modern appeal. The original colour combination of white and copper on a blue base has been retained by us as per the original. It takes over 2 weeks to weave one shawl.
