This heritage Himroo design is inspired by the Safavid textiles of Persia that were woven in the 14th century. While it was created centuries' ago, the symmetry and scale of each flower give this design a very contemporary and modern appeal. Here we have tweaked the original colour combination of white and copper on a blue base by introducing a row of magenta flowers as well adding a pretty, feminine touch. It takes over 2 weeks to weave one shawl.
